Nicolás Maduro Captured By US Military
President Trump announced the news early Saturday morning
In a brief post to Truth Social, President Trump confirmed that the U.S. had “successfully carried out a large scale strike against Venezuela.”
He also said that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife were captured and being flown out of the country.
Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez seemingly corroborated President Trump’s announcment after saying that the government is unaware of the whereabouts of the Maduro and his wife.
“We demand immediate proof of life from the government of President Donald Trump regarding the lives of President Maduro and the first lady,” Rodríguez said in a call to state-run media.
