Man Shot Dead by Federal Agents in Minneapolis

A man was shot and killed by federal agents on the intersection of Nicollet Avenue and 26th Street in Minneapolis on Saturday morning.

DHS says the man was armed.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said he spoke with the White House following the incident.

“The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now,” Walz added. 

Large crowds of protesters have gathered at the scene and tear gas has been reportedly used.
